John Langan

John Langan is originally from Metuchen, New Jersey, and has lived in Virginia with his wife, Mary Ellen, since 1991. John has a degree in psychology from Rutgers University and worked in the mental health field until he stumbled across a job at a builder supply company—he has had sawdust in his veins ever since. Prior to starting Pillar to Post, he was a regional sales manager for an industrialized building manufacturer. John is a food adventurer as both a cook and a customer; he enjoys finding and eating at a roadside food shack as much as at a white tablecloth restaurant.

Mary Ellen Langan

Mary Ellen Langan is from East Brunswick, New Jersey and moved to Roanoke in 1991. She and John have one son, Trevor, who lives in Chicago with his wife. Mary Ellen splits her time between Pillar to Post and providing companion care for seniors, and when she’s not working, you can find her gardening, arranging flowers, or off on an adventure in Siesta Key, Florida.

Georgianne Vecellio

Georgianne Vecellio has been the Customer Care Coordinator for the Langan Group since October 2019. Originally from Pennsylvania, she now lives in Salem with her husband, daughter, and cat. Georgianne is a language enthusiast, photographer, and nature lover.

Adam Sparks

Originally from Christiansburg, VA, Adam Sparks built experience in real estate in Roanoke, VA before transitioning to billing coordination for Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices in Orange County, California. After spending several years on the West Coast and welcoming two children, he and his family moved back to Salem, VA to be closer to loved ones.

During his home-buying journey, Adam connected with John Langan for a home inspection, sparking a conversation that led to his role as Marketing Coordinator for the team. Adam enjoys providing creativity and fresh ideas to highlight the team’s expertise and commitment to quality service.
Outside of work, Adam is a dedicated stay-at-home dad to his 4- and 5-year-old, finding joy in family time, caring for his beloved dogs, and embracing his role as a proud “plant dad”.

Rob Knezovich

Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Rob spent 11 years in Baltimore before settling in Roanoke, VA, where he has lived for nearly 30 years. He’s a proud parent to a dedicated nurse and a lively grandson who keeps life exciting.

He earned his biology degree from Penn State and built a career in pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturing, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs. Before retiring, he spent 18 years recruiting General Dentists across the Midwest.

Now, as The Langan Group’s Radon Technician, Rob enjoys blending his science background with travel across Southwest Virginia. Outside of work, he enjoys live music, outdoor adventures with his dog, and home renovation projects. Fun fact: Rob has taken breaks from corporate life to flip houses and run a dog boarding kennel.
